Ginger and Tulsi Tea

Indulge in the soothing embrace of Ginger and Tulsi Tea, a delightful infusion that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also offers an array of health benefits. Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger root

  • 1 teaspoon dried or fresh tulsi (holy basil) leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried cinnamon bark

  • 1 pinch dried black pepper

  • 2 cups water

 

Instructions:

 

  1. In a pot, Add 2 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Add the dried ginger root, tulsi leaves, cinnamon bark, and black pepper to the boiling water.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the herbs simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors and medicinal properties to infuse into the water.

  4. Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. Strain the tea to remove the herbs and pour it into cups or a teapot. Enjoy.

  6. If desired, add lemon to enhance the flavor, stirring until it dissolves.
